Blog: http://cabtnssu.blogspot.com/ Activity No. 316 Date: 26/06/2018 Today NSS volunteers remembered the Birth Anniversary of Shri. Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj. We paid the homage to the First Maharaja of the princely state of Kolhapur, he was an invaluable gem in the history of Maharashtra. Greatly influenced by the contributions of social reformer Jyotiba Phule, Shahu Maharaj was an ideal leader and able ruler who was associated with many progressive and path breaking activities during his rule. From his coronation in 1894 till his demise in 1922, he worked tirelessly for the cause of the lower caste subjects in his state. Mr. Vikram Pasale awarded best NSS volunteer. Self motivated NSS volunteer given certificate of participation. Prof. Gaikar P. S., NSS Coordinator presented the Annual Report of the NSS 2018-19. Prof. Autade R. H., I/c Principal interacted with students gave suggestions that NSS should work towards awareness of society about Government Schemes and every NSS volunteer should be trained in disaster management. Prof. Mahesh Chandre, Prof. Sitaram Warkhad, Prof. Manisha Adik & Prof. Shraddha Ranpise was present for the event. NSS unit 2017-18 donated the Photoframes of the renowned personalities of India.
